Need a cheesy beginner band blues piece for your junior band? This is perfect! Using only the first easy 5 notes this easy 12 bar blues style piece gives everyone a piece of the melody, with a big full sound. Only crotchets or longer in all parts except snare and cymbal who have quavers. ‘Easy notes’ actually means ‘easy’ – not the usual 5-note beginner band method notes. Most instruments are concert Bb-F. Tenor, Horn & Glock are concert F-C. Flutes can be Bb-F OR F-C (or both for harmony). Tuba or Bass Guitar can be Bb-F or higher Eb-Bb (not recommended to do both at the same time). Simple dynamics, and great for introducing crescendo.
