Greensleeves – Solo Feature (PDF format)

Description

Original written for a woodwind ensemble (featuring clarinet), then re-scored for brass band (featuring trombone), the third version for concert band can feature any instrument you want that suits the range. F Horn is the instrument the concert band version was arranged for, but you get to pick! (Not recommended for flute feature – there is already a flute solo within the piece). Once again, this piece is full of jazz flavour in the harmonies and progressions. There is a considerable amount of doubling between brass and woodwind sections, so you don’t need a really big band to get a really good sound from this arrangement.
